As you may know, coal jobs in Virginia have been under regulatory assault from bureaucrats in Washington, D.C. Whether it’s the EPA holding up permits, the Department of Interior threatening new stream buffer zone rules or the constant threats coming from the current administration, one thing is clear: we need to stand up for our communities, our families and our jobs!

Because of this, AFP-VA is partnering with the Federation for American Coal, Energy and Security (FACES) to host a rally as we stand for Virginia coal jobs!

Please join us in Abingdon, VA on Saturday, June 2^nd, from 11am-4pm at the Washington County Fairgrounds (17046 Fairgrounds Dr., Abingdon, VA) . The rally will be a family-friendly event featuring live music, complimentary food and beverage and entertainment for all ages, including a special children’s entertainment pavilion.

NOTE: THE ROANOKE BUS WILL DEPART PROMPTLY AT 8:30AM FROM THE DALEVILLE KROGER (2 KINGSTON DR DALEVILLE, VA). PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE TIME.
