Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northcentral Wisconsin and Wausau’s finest restaurants, caterers, and crafted beverage makers come together in support of local youth. Last year, more than 500 children in Wausau, Merrill, Mosinee, and Spencer had the life-changing opportunity to have a mentor thanks to your support. Please join their effort by reserving your tickets to the annual BIG TASTE!

- Chef Dan Loomis (Hoffman House) and Chef Elizabeth Hinner (Red Eye) will go head-to-head creating a masterpiece dish using the unveiled “Secret Ingredient”. A must-see!
- Culinary Q&A with a local chef throughout the BIG Chef Showdown.
- Hear the amazing stories of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northcentral Wisconsin.
- Do you want to taste the masterpiece dishes created during the Showdown? You could win the chance to be a guest judge!
6:30 - 9:00 PM BEST OF TOWN
- SAMPLE FOOD. Participating Wausau area kitchens and hand-crafted beverage makers will be stationed at booths where they will provide all kinds of delicious, mouth-watering appetizers, entrées, desserts and beverages— including wine and beer—samples to attendees.
- VOTE FOR WAUSAU'S BEST OF TOWN. You decide who will be awarded Best Appetizer, Best Entrée, Best Crafted Beverage and more. NEW: There will be 10 voting categories this year!
- COOKING DEMONSTRATION by Chef David Lorio in the Great Hall. You will also get a close-up look at the custom built kitchen cabinetry by DFF Kitchens.
