field-trips to museums, parks, and cultural centers, project-based
learning in all subject areas, sports, science experiments, world
music and dancing, creating art projects, planting a community garden, and more!
SNBC's Rec Connect programs are part of the Rec Connect Initiative, which is a partnership involving the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department, the Department of Children, Youth and their Families, and non-profits like the Sunset Neighborhood Beacon Center.
The goal of Rec Connect is to strengthen San Francisco rec centers as lively community hubs with new and improved programs for youth and their families. In partnership with the Recreation and Park Department, SNBC is offering a wide range of FREE programs at the West Sunset Recreation Center.
