IPE Productions is a San Francisco-based organization which hosts and promotes networking events, each of which also benefit a different non-profit organization. IPE gives busy professionals an opportunity to give back to the community.
City Slicker Farms was founded by local West Oakland residents to increase food self-sufficiency by creating organic, sustainable, high-yield urban farms and back-yard gardens. These spaces provide healthy, affordable food and improve the environment. CSF's farms and gardens demonstrate the viability of a local food-production system, serve as community spaces, empower children and adults who want to learn about the connections between ecology, farming and the urban environment, and give West Oakland residents tools for self-reliance. IPE, which stands for Innovative Philanthropic Events, is an event production partnership founded by Oliver L’Abbe, Leiann Ash and Daniel Duffy which provides Bay Area professionals and entrepreneurs with networking and philanthropic opportunities, hosting “happy hour” events in some of the Bay Area’s most exclusive hot spots with proceeds to benefit local and non-profit charities. To date, IPE has hosted events at Harlot, Vessel, Roe and Mezzanine benefiting various 501(c)(3) organizations, including the San Francisco Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Oasis for Girls, Compassionate Parenting and One Brick.
