One-on one portfolio review with Jeremy Adams, Executive Director, CUE
as part of Artist Opportunity Workshop, presented by Brooklyn Arts Council and D.U.M.B.O. Arts Center
This two-day professional development event features workshops by Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, multi-disciplinary artist Man Bartlett, and a live barter event facilitated by Our Goods. The event concludes with a unique opportunity for one-on-one portfolio reviews by established curators, artists and gallery owners.
Jeremy Adams, Executive Director, CUE has been affiliated with CUE since January 2003, prior to the public opening. He was instrumental in setting up the physical layout of the gallery spaces, residency studio and offices, as well as nominating, along with Gregory Amenoff, the first round of CUE Curatorial Advisory Council members. Previously Mr. Adams was the Vice President and Director of Operations of Art4love Inc., a company focusing on leasing the work of emerging artists to corporations and health care institutions throughout the New York region. Prior to that, he was Assistant Director of Pamela Auchincloss Arts Management Services, which organized traveling exhibitions to museums and art institutions throughout the country. He also managed the Pamela Auchincloss Gallery, an exhibition space in New York focusing on contemporary art. Mr. Adams received an Honors BA from Winchester School of Art and an MFA in painting from Pratt Institute, New York in 1991.
