Getting Started in Planned Giving
10:00 am -- 12:00 noon
Planned gifts are -- by far -- the largest charitable gifts. They can mean the difference between thriving and barely surviving. Learn the basic concepts and how to use them with your donors. Every charity, large and small, should be inviting its donors to consider planned gifts. We show you how to do it with your current staff. Taught by John Elbare, MBA, CFP.
Register for both seminars for $99 and receive a complimentary deli lunch. $79 for additional registrants from the same organization.
Asking for Large Gifts
1:00 pm -- 3:00 pm
The real payoff in fund raising comes from large gifts, yet many charitable organizations fail to ask for them effectively. Learn how to ask your donors for large gifts naturally and easily, using our techniques of permission-based solicitation. We show you how to sidestep the usual reluctance and anxiety that so often accompanies personal gift solicitations. Learn how to cultivate donors and ask for the right gift at the right time. This training sessions is for both volunteers and staff members. Taught by John Elbare, CFP.
