The increasingly popular ASMP Photo Safari Shootout is back! Are you up to the challenge?
During this time-limited challenge of a photographer's creativity, participants will be given an assignment to photograph (which remains top-secret until the big reveal at the beginning of the contest). The key rules: you have just one hour to capture an image of the item - no Photoshop wizardry, just straight up good creative photography captured as a JPG ready to submit. Afterwards your peers and fellow contestants will vote for the most creative. No tripods. No light stands. No laptops.
The event will begin at 7:00pm at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, and is strictly limited to only 40 photographers. Pre-registration is mandatory. We will meet at the O'Brien Gate between 6:15-6:30pm. Admission is $5 for ASMP members, $10 for non-members. Fair admission is included, parking fees are not.
Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place - donated by George's Camera. Take a shot!
