Reflective Practices for Transformational Leadership

For organizations to thrive, leaders need to use critical thinking and decision making. By increasing self awareness, they will make more mindful and effective choices. Encouraging a greater level of understanding the relationship between the self and the whole creates socially responsible organizations.

In this session, participants will:

  • Discuss how inner work is connected to transformational leadership in individuals, groups, organizations, and communities
  • Explore a variety of contemplative practices that are being used in organizations to transform leaders, build capacity, and increase organizational effectiveness
  • Identify how to integrate reflective practices when coaching organizational leaders in developing a deeper understanding of self, improving focus and enhancing insight, and promoting compassionate understanding in and empathy towards others.
