Local crimes ranged from murder in the Cathedral to theft worth two pence, and the punishments were often disproportionately harsh. This walk will take in the 1831 Courtroom and cells beneath. Also takes in buildings that were prisons in former times and points out such niceties as the pillory and stocks. Not for the faint-hearted!!
