EVENT DETAILS:
The nonprofit TentMakers Inc. assists low- and moderate-income households with housing and economic development opportunities. And they go beyond that to also help counties, cities, nonprofits, housing developers, and the public.
 
At our June seminar, Joe Serrano will inform us about the Attainable and Sustainable Housing (ASH) Model, which is a combination of the FHA 203K loan program, Energy Efficient Mortgage, and Energy Upgrade California. He'll also present case studies of Tentmakers projects and explore some of the opportunities and constraints involved.

Refreshments: Coffee, juice, and water
Access: A couple blocks from Daly City BART Station, easy access from 280 with free parking available next door.

The Green Project Management seminars are held at the Keller Graduate School's Daly City location from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon PDT on the third Saturday of each month. About the Speaker:
Joe R. Serrano, Founder/CEO of TentMakers Inc., and President of Homes By Design, a housing rehabilitation consulting firm. Mr. Serrano has over 25 years of construction and development experience working with redevelopment agencies, community development, housing authorities and the private sector. He specializes in green technology, affordable housing and economic development. He has an academic background in architecture, building materials and business administration from Contra Costa College, the University of Wisconsin and JFK University in Walnut Creek, California respectively.  He is also a HUD certified HOME program specialist in regulations and approved FHA 203K consultant.

Cancellation and No-Show policy
If you have made a reservation and find that you will be unable to attend please send an email tofinance@pmi-sfbac.org and cancel as early as possible. All cancellations are subject to a minimum $30 fee if done at least 5 days before the event. Cancellations after June 11, 2012 are subject to the full charge to ensure the Chapter does not incur excessive expenses.
