REDF’s 2^nd annual event celebrates the Bay Area’s unique role at the forefront of innovation—in this case, social innovation. It highlights the social enterprise model as an effective, revenue-generating, and scalable way to move people with significant barriers into the workforce. It offers a practical example of the impact we can have on domestic challenges when business, government, nonprofits and philanthropy work together.

This year, guests will hear from an exciting, thought-provoking and high-level speaker who has significant expertise catalyzing global social change. Bobby Shriver will offer his insights on the opportunities and challenges facing our country as we look for models of social innovation that can be scaled and sustained and, in the process, leverage resources and expertise across sectors.

Following the program, REDF will feature its portfolio of social enterprises in a high-energy networking expo with musical entertainment. Guests will have an opportunity to meet the leaders of these local exemplars of social innovation, learn more about their businesses and explore ways to become more deeply invested in social enterprise in the Bay Area and beyond.
