Join Strava and The San Francisco Marathon for a 4 or 5 mile run through SOMA and along the Embarcadero. Burn off steam from the workday, get your workout in, and meet new people! Registration is FREE and all are welcome.

Schedule of Events:

6:00-6:30 PM: Arrive at Strava! We'll have a place for you to change and to store your stuff before the run. Grab some water and chat with your fellow runners. Please arrive a few minutes early so you are ready to get running at 6:30 PM.

6:30 PM: Head out for a 4-4.5 mile route that heads down Market St. and up the Embarcadero to tackle the Filbert St. stairs, then loop around back down the Embarcadero and up Mission St. *For those not wishing to tackle the stairs, you can cheer your fellow runners and/or head back down the Embarcadero. MAPPED ROUTE

7:00-8:30: When you return, head back into the Strava office for food, drinks, and fun!

Challenge!

This event will feature a Strava challenge, so prepare your GPS devices and iPhone/Android Strava Apps! We'll be tackling the Filbert Street Steps Segment. Upload your run to your Strava account afterwards; the fastest time of the day will win a prize! All participants will receive SF Marathon Sweatbands and high-fives (optional). 

The challenge will be open for one month following the event. We will award to both the runner with the fastest time and to the runner who completes the segment the most times in the two week period, awards can be collected at June's meet up run.
