October 2nd :: OneLight Mixer -- 7:30pm-10:30pm (light hor’ dourves and the like, location TBD...)
Please plan on making it out to this! The mixer is a great way for everyone to meet each other before diving into the workshop the next day. Zack typically shares his story and background at the mixer. Spouses and significant others are totally welcome and if you have any photog friends feel free to spread the word as the more the merrier!
October 3rd :: OneLight Workshop (Location TBD...)
Plan on arriving at 9:30am for breakfast. (bagels and fruit, coffee and juice.)
The OneLight workshop will start at 10am. It is going to be a very long day so prepare yourself to go till at least midnight.
No worries, lunch and dinner will be provided as well!
If you have any specific dietary needs / allergies, please let us know beforehand so we can make sure that you do not starve. We think It’s never fun to let people starve, you know, as a general rule.
You will be shooting for part of the day so bring a camera body, a wide to standard range of lenses, some CF cards, and spare batteries. If you happen to already own a Pocket Wizard feel free to bring that as well. If not, no worries, Zack will have extra for you to use! Don't feel that you need to bring all of your gear with you although we do recommend that you bring a range of focal lengths if you have them. Zack will be working in the 24mm - 105mm range. It's good to travel light as you move around during the afternoon and evening.
Also be sure to bring a notepad or laptop for taking notes. Digital recorders are popular at the workshop. You can usually pick one up for around $30 at Radio Shack. Zack allows audio recording as long as you promise not to post the files for public consumption. :-)
And as always if you have any questions please feel free to contact Meghan at register@onelightworkshop.com
