Event Details

The Community Economic Development Law Project is presenting a series of three seminars to assist people starting new nonprofits and businesses. The seminars are being held in the 37th Ward Community Meeting Room, 5346 West North Avenue. Registration is limited and there is a $10 fee for each seminar (or $25 for all three) to defray the cost of materials and refreshments.

Creating a Charity (Wed., June 10, 10am-12:30pm) Attendees will gain in-depth knowledge about the legal requirements and various filings for creating a 501(c)(3) nonprofit tax exempt organization. CEDLP Staff Attorney Erica Spangler Raz will present.
