Great Falls Field Workshop

Loation: Great Falls National Park, Virginia

Transportation, meals and lodging are not included in the cost.

Activity Level: Moderate (low level of hiking but some scrambiling over rocks and steep hillside to navigate)

Investment: $175.00(early registration) - $225.00(late registration)

Join me for a day of landscape and nature photography in Great Falls National Park. We will have a chance to photograph the mighty Potomac River in Mather Gorge at sunrise and sunset as well as shooting other worthy subjects such as waterfalls, cascades, Great Blue Egrets, Kyakers and streams. As always I will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, give advice on compositions and exposure as well as get the group to my favorite locations in the park. This workshop is limited to 8 participants and will run from sunrise to sunset. We will break for meals as a group and have a 2 hour classroom lecture in the middle of the day.

Joseph Rossbach has been photographing the natural world since 1995. His work has appeared in a number of books and calendars, as well as national and regional magazines, including PHOTO Techniques, Mountain Connections, Blue Ridge Country, Digital Camera World, and The Nature Conservancy. Joseph"s fine-art prints have appeared in national collections, galleries, personal collections and one-man shows. Joseph is also the co-author and photographer for "50 amazing things you must see or do in the greater Washington D.C. area (Mountain Trail Press) & "The ultimate guide to digital nature photography" (Mountain Trail Press)

Joseph is a team member of Mountain Trail Photo (www.mountaintrailphoto.com) and a workshop instructor. He travels the United States extensively capturing new and exciting images every year, as well as conducting several on-location workshops and photo tours. His commercial work is represented by Liz Kaye Photo Represenative and Super Stock Images LLC.
