Second Annual BeerFest - May 20, 2012 noon-6pm
Historic St. Mary's City Museum
The second annual Beer Festival will be held at Historic St. Mary's City Museum on Sunday, May 20th, from noon until 6pm. Rock to the music of the 25th Hour Band and the Piranhas while you enjoy a variety of activities, including special tours of Van Sweringen's Ordinary (one of the first taverns in the colony); a beer making demonstration and cider making demonstration, Great fund requires great food! Visitors will have the opportunity to sample local cuisine while tasting beers from craft brewers such as Heavy Seas, Ruddy Duck, Breweres Alley and The Raven.
Artisans will have select offerings for sale and fun activities for the youngsters may be found at the Kid's Tent. This event is a fundraiser to support the education and research activities of the museum.
