Posole, a rich and tasty Columbian soup, is a comfort food we don’t often make at home. Not only because it is thought to be time consuming, but because here in New York, we might be inclined to think someone else can make it better! Let’s shatter these myths and learn how to make our own posole at home. As part of our Make Your Own Take Out series, we’ll see how quick and simple it can be to make a complete and healthy meal, both filling and satisfying after a long day away from home. We’ll use seasonal ingredients to create layers of flavor, not only for the soup itself, but for a specialty cocktail, seasonal guacamole and salsa and even homemade tortillas. If you don’t believe you can do all of this in one night and still have time left over to enjoy your evening, come and let us show you how it’s done!

Recipes:Strawberry Columbian Rum, Spring Posole, Columbian Avocado Salsa, Fiery & Smoky Salsa, Homemade Tortillas

Class Type: Series, Make Your Own Take Out

Class Notes: Create seasonal and healthy Columbian fare simply in this class!
