Jazz Journalists Association Awards Satellite Party honoring Chicago Jazz Hero 2012, Orbert Davis. 7-8:30 p.m.
The party is open to all ages and free. Register early as space is limited. "Intersections" series performance follows at 8:30.
“Intersections” featuring: Tatsu Aoki (bass), Hanah Jon Taylor (saxophones, flute and wind synthesizer), Jeff Chan (winds), Dushun Mosley (percussion) and special guest Orbert Davis (trumpet). Suggested donation: $10 ($8 students and JIC members.)
