You should arrive no later than your scheduled registration time to allow for check-ins. Any late arrivals will not be admitted into the exam. You must bring a government issued photo I.D. to be admitted into exam.

The Academy gives the POST Entry-Level Dispatcher Selection Test Battery (POST Dispatcher Test)*. The POST Dispatcher Test is designed to measure aptitude for performing public safety dispatcher work. Click for more information.

*Due to the volume of examinees, South Bay limits examinees to one (1) POST Dispatcher Test every three months. For example, if you test in January, the earliest you can retake the POST Dispatcher Test is April. Furthermore, If you make multiple reservations for the exam or make a reservation sooner than the 3 month limit, South Bay reserves the right to delete that reservation.
