ABOUT MEATOPIA, presented by Whole Foods Market
Meatopia, presented by Whole Foods Market is a unique, meat-centric culinary event, held yearly in New York City, founded and hosted by James Beard Award-winning food writer Josh Ozersky. Live music, live fires, a prestigious culinary competition, and Whole Foods Market’s legendary Best Butcher Contest all come together to create an unforgettable experience. This year's theme is "City of Meat" and includes chefs such as Marc Forgione, Adam Perry Lang, April Bloomfield, Sean Brock, Naomi Pomeroy, Michael White, and many, many more. Look for live music by Woods, The Living Kills, and The Slackers.

Transportation
1. Water Taxi – running to Randall's Island from the East 35th Street location ONLY (other water taxi pick-up locations will not take you to Randall's island) running every 30 mintues from 3:10pm until 7:30PM. Return Water Taxi running until 10:30pm. 45 minute ride. (Round trip Water Taxi ride included in General Admission and Group Admission Tickets.)

Located between East 34th and 35th Streets on the East River. Accessible by the 4, 5, or 6

trains to East 33rd Street, or by the M16 or M34 buses.
2. Parking will be available on Randall's Island for $20, CASH ONLY. Head for the Icahn Stadium lot.
3. The M35 bus runs to Randall's Island from the NW corner of 125th Street and Lexington Ave.
Transfer is available from the Lexington Avenue 4, 5, or 6 trains at 125th Street.
What to Bring, What not to Bring
Yes – picnic blankets or beach towels, sunscreen, valid driver's license for will-call and/or to drink alcohol, your appetite
No – strollers, outside food and beverage (including alcohol), weapons of any kind, fireworks/explosives, illegal substances, pets, bad attitudes
Additional Information
• There will be no refunds. MEATOPIA will take place rain or shine. Chefs subject to change.
• There will be no re-entry into the festival.

I accept full responsibility for complying with New York law regarding consumption of alcohol, and if consuming alcohol, I agree to monitor and limit my alcoholic beverage intake. I acknowledge that I must be 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages and that I am prohibited from operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
I agree and acknowledge that this event will take place rain or shine.
I grant Meatopia a non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable, irrevocable license to use my voice, name and likeness to promote future events or to obtain press and media coverage of the Event.
