JOIN US! We’re collaborating with a couple other local pioneers to celebrating three years of coworking in the Hudson Valley.
BEAHIVE was the first such space in the region. The original hive opened in May 2009 in the heart of Beacon’s Main Street, a second swarmed to Kingston later that winter, and a third hive opened in Albany in March of this year. (The Kingston hive is closing in May.)
The Purple Crayon Center for Learning and Social Innovation’s shared workspace, The Inc., (Hastings-on-Hudson) and W@tercooler (Tarrytown) both turn one in June.
To celebrate these milestones, all three of us are hosting coordinated open houses and happy hour networking at our respective spaces.
Come experience first-hand this new way to work, try out our space for free, and get a chance to know some of our members and programs and network with others in the community.
JUST ADDED TO THE EVENING! Local writer Chris Raymond, a contributing writer at Success Magazine will present an end-of-evening salon-style talk on the hot new trend in business: Gamifification. What can Super Mario teach you about smart business? Far more than you think.
Raymond will give a sneak peak at his forthcoming article that explains how companies like Nike, Facebook, and Target are using game strategy to expand their reach and create wildly successful customer loyalty programs. Stick around after the Networking to hear about the power of Gamification — the business buzz word of the moment — and how it can help you.
