Event Description

Amr Elssamadisy, author of Agile Adoption Patterns: A Roadmap to Organizational Success, will be running a tutorial on the topic of his book.  This is an in-depth and interactive event on HOW TO adopt different practices successfully, i.e. how to get from "I want to do this practice" to "I'm doing it and getting obvious value."  We will also discuss the business value delivered, the context where each practice is most effective, what happens when things go wrong and how you can diagnose these difficulties.

Amr is also offering a free informal one hour session to local organizations - to discuss Agile Adoption.  The format of the session can either be presentation style or simply a Q & A session and will provide an opportunity for one on one time with an Agile expert to learn and have your questions answered.

Amr Elssamadisy, a partner at Gemba Systems is a software development practitioner who helps his clients build better software that is more valuable to their organizations.  Amr helps both small and large development teams learn new technologies, adopt and adapt appropriate Agile development practices, and focus on helping their clients build better software within their organizations by addressing issues such as personal agility, team-building, communication, feedback, and all of the other soft skills that distinguish excellent teams.
