The Vancouver Island Chapter of the Project Management Institute welcomes you to join Dr. Dale Christenson in a one day project management fundamentals course.

This highly participatory workshop will provide an overview of the PMI project management framework including its phases, processes and knowledge areas.  While this course is an overview of the basics it will also be of interest to those who wish to examine critical successes factors for project success and change management practices for successful project implementation.

Dr. Christenson is one of eight individuals internationally to have received a doctorate level degree in project management.  He has written over ten peer reviewed journal articles and teaches at the University of Victoria, Athabasca University and Royal Roads University . His project management experience spans both the public and private sector.  Dr. Christenson also leads the international award winning Project Management Centre of Excellence for the government of British Columbia.

This workshop will provide current PMPs with 6 professional Development units (PDUs) and non CAPMs with 6 hours of training toward their certification prerequisites.
