Using Acceptance Tests to Drive Development, Quality, and Faster Releases

ABSTRACT: In this session Arin Sime will introduce you to the concepts of Acceptance Test Driven Development in a fun, fast-paced, and engaging style. You will use legos to understand how ATDD will help improve communication, increase quality, and enable more frequent deployments of new features. This session also provides a preview for AgilityFeat's May 14th ATDD Kickstart class in Richmond.

SPEAKER:Arin Sime is an agile coach, developer, and the founder of Charlottesville based AgilityFeat which provides agile training to US clients and Nearshore Agile development services in Costa Rica. Arin has worked with teams at small startups, large corporations, and government agencies. Arin has been a speaker at Agile 2009, Agile 2010, XP2011, as well as other regional conferences, and he holds an M.S. in Management of I.T. from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
