Event Details

Experts agree that times have changed.  The old ways of attracting, welcoming, and following up on guests to a church have changed.  New practices are necessary to encourage visitors to remain in a church following their initial visit. Pastors and church leaders are asking three key questions.  “What’s the best way to attract new people to our church?” “What’s the best way to welcome those who come?” “What’s the best way to follow-up with new people?”

Why Church Leaders Should Attend

If guests to your church don’t think you're friendly, you aren’t.  Guests form most of their opinions about your church within thirty seconds of entering the front door.  For every three people willing to tell a positive story about your church, thirty-  three are willing to tell a negative one.

Being friendly accounts for only about 20 percent of a church’s effectiveness in welcoming guests.  The other 80 percent comes from well-designed systems. The first impression your visitors have of your church will stay with them until they return again—if they ever do.             Attending the Beyond the First Visit training seminar will empower church leaders to effectively attract, welcome, and follow-up on guests so that they stay in you church.

Please note: No meal with this seminar. Ample time for lunch on your own will be provided.
