Charles Rotblut is a vice president with the American Association of Individual Investors. He is the editor of the AAII Journal, co-created AAII Dividend Investing, helps to manage the Stock Superstars portfolio and authors the weekly AAII Investor Update newsletter. Charles’s commentary has been published on CNBC.com, Forbes.com and in SFO Magazine. His book, Better Good than Lucky: How Savvy Investors Create Fortune with the Risk-Reward Ratio, was published in November 2010.
A Chartered Financial Analyst, Rotblut has analyzed both publicly-traded and privately-held companies. Steve Younes is a market director of fixed income overseeing the Northern California region. He educates financial consultants, clients and prospective clients about fixed income investing and the unique resources available at Charles Schwab.
Younes has been at Schwab since February 1992 and has worked in the fixed income division for the past 17 years. He has been an active participant within the fixed income management team for the past 10 years, most recently as the director of sales for the California region, whose hub is located in Denver, Colorado.
Younes earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Arizona, with a focus in Political Science and Economics.

Mr. Sloss was Vice President of Finance for Lattice Semiconductor before retiring in 2005. He holds BS in Business from the University of California and became a CPA in 1969. Early in his career was Financial Auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers and later joined Kaufman & Broad as Director of Controls Evaluation & Audits. He followed this with CFO positions at Cordura and Daisy Systems. In 1990 Roddy joined Sigoloff & Associates as a Consultant and finished his working career at Lattice Semiconductor. Now days he lives in Los Altos Hills, works on the town finance committee.

The AAII Silicon Valley Chapter is affiliated with the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII), a nonprofit corporation founded in 1978 for the purpose of assisting individuals in becoming effective managers of their own assets through programs of education, information and research.
AAII local chapters are grassroots organizations led by volunteer AAII members, and allow AAII to extend its mission "person to person" to individual investors in their own communities by offering meetings that provide unbiased investment education in a social context.
