THE DUKE ELLINGTON CENTER FOR THE ARTS AND THE PLAYERS CLUB PRESENT A COCKTAIL RECEPTION AND CONCERT FOR DUKE ELLINGTON'S 113th BIRTHDAY.
The cabaret is open for drinks and birthday cake! And it's going to be a swinging, jiving party.
Please join the dazzling Mercedes Ellington and the Duke Elllington Center Big Band, under the direction of Frank Owens – plus hot vocalists Antoinette Montague and Marion Cowings, the Mickey Davidson Swing Dancers, and the ballroom artistry of Michael Choi.
A cash bar is available all evening. The reception starts at 6 pm and the performance at 7:30; and toward the end of the show we'll be serving birthday cake and toasting Duke with his favorite drink – Coca Cola!
