Registration Instructions:
Once you complete the information below and complete payment, your information will be processed. You will receive an email in 2-3 business days with a link to the online course. You must also select the day for your practical examination with an instructor from the dates listed above.

Online Course:
The online course is based on 2010 guidelines. Each section contains a test that also serves a pre-test challenge if the student desires to “test out” of a particular section in which he or she demonstrates competence.

Practical Examination:
The practical examination is held at the David Meade Massie Virtual Hospital. It will be preceded by a brief classroom review of ACLS guidelines. Working in a team setting in a simulated hospital environment, the student must direct the team in the initial emergency care of a patient following accepted ACLS guidelines.

Course Completion:
You must complete the online course prior to completing the practical examination. If the online course materials are not completed prior to your practical examination, you will be rescheduled. You will be issued a certification card after successfully completing the practical examination.

Continuing Education (Nursing and Medical):
Nursing CEU and CME will be issued once the post-course online evaluation is completed. In accordance with Ohio Nursing Association guidelines, you may not be able to claim CEU if you are taking this class as a renewal.
