About The Speaker

Elaine Perlman is the Dean of Admissions at Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School. Over the course of 24 years, Elaine has taught the following grades: pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, second, fourth, sixth and eighth grades. Elaine taught in the NYC public school system, in independent schools and the American International School of Budapest. She also was the Dean of Fifth and Sixth Grades at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School. Elaine is a graduate of Wesleyan University and Columbia Graduate School, where she earned two Masters Degrees in Teaching and Administration.
