Different stages of a company lifecycle often call for different financing vehicles.  For example, a founder with an idea may bootstrap or turn to family and friends for financing.  Once a company grows to the product design and development stage, it is more likely to see angel and venture capital funds getting involved. As a company matures, other forms of financing might be more relevant.

Established companies and entrepreneurs need to understand the different types of financing available to them and how they can best access those funds. Our all-star panel, moderated by Bill Schnoor, Goodwin Procter, will include:

Each of these potential financing sources will discuss:

  • How financing and investing has changed
  • What has stayed the same
  • Where it's just a whole new world.

Each will address not only how and why they invest, but what they take (equity, debt) and, how they exit (and how that exit might impact the company.)
