 Evolution of a Love Addict

written and performed by Natasha M. Dixon

Is a sneak peek into the mind of a woman on a funny electric ride through the world of dating, divorcing and the lessons learned while finding the Love that really matters. Natasha spent the last 10 years compiling her life experiences into an action packed show.  Audiences are ushered into an emotional roller coaster ride with very candidly transparent recollections of discovering family secrets at age fifteen to wild life after divorce in her thirties. This show is enjoyed my men and women alike.  It speaks to your soul and will have you evaluating the quest for love.

Natasha is honored to have been directed by Michael Phillips Edwards for this piece. She has also worked with  Ed Banuel in The Last Adam, Shandra McDonald in Can’t Let Go, Barry Bowles in Chatroom, and Don Jackson in Blade Sisters. Her television experience includes hit shows such as, ER, Third Watch and CSI.

Natasha has been the entertainment columnist for the Houston Sun. She has written a children’s book “The Adventures of Jordan”, two films “Country Love” and “The Clarinet”, and a book of poems. She also produced the film, “Can’t Let Go” that received film festival recognition along with being televised nationwide on major networks. Her most recent projects are “Tired Black Man”, and “Deadbeat Dads”.

She has done all this while being a single mother to J.D. Phillips, who is now attending Carnegie Mellon University
