Bird Hike Information

Who: All ages 12 and up are welcome; minors under 18 require a signed waiver and children require an accompanying adult unless prior approval is obtained from the hike supervisor. For groups of 5 or more, please contact Joan Dudney, joand@acterra.orgbefore signing up.

What: The bird hike will be led by John Wills of the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society (SCVAS), who actively monitors the bird boxes at Arastradero Preserve and is a wealth of avian knowledge.  

When: Sunday, May 13th from 9AM-12PM.  Please arrive on time as it will be difficult to find us and obtain binoculars after we leave the buildings.

Where: Arastradero Preserve located at 1530 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto. We will meet at the buildings next to the parking lot. Carpool, bike, or walk if possible.

Please bring: A reusable water bottle, a snack if needed and dress appropriately for the weather. 

Minors under 18 must bring a waiver form signed by a parent.
