Bird Box Walk Information

Who: All ages are welcome; minors under 18 require a signed waiver and children require an accompanying adult unless prior approval is obtained from the hike supervisor.

What: Join us as Dick Blaine, who works with Audubon’s Cavity Nesters Recovery Program, leads us on a walk to learn how volunteers are aiding the recovery of local cavity nesting birds such as the Western Bluebird. Manmade nest box projects like the one at the McClellan Preserve provide important replacement habitat in a heavily urbanized valley such as ours where suitable natural sites have become increasingly scarce

When: Saturday, May 12th from 10AM-12PM.

Where: McClellan Ranch Preserve at 22221 McClellan Road in Cupertino

Please bring: A reusable water bottle, a snack if needed and dress appropriately for the weather.

Minors under 18 must bring a waiver form signed by a parent.

Contact joannem@acterra.org for more information.

PLEASE NOTE: When you complete your registration for this event, you DO NOT need to print a receipt or ticket.
