Come and join us at McGowens in Oakhurst for our bi-monthly luncheon. McGowens is located in the old Scottish Right building across from the fire station and the U-Joint on West Hill St in Oakhurst. If you are looking for a way to serve the community, this is the place. We have a group of well-connected professionals who are committed to serving children in the Decatur community. We meet the first and third Wednesday of every month. Visitors are always welcome. We would love to have lunch with you and talk about our exciting service projects and volunteer opportunities. Last year we raised $2000 for non-profit organizations in Decatur. These funds all went to help Decatur children in need. 

At our next meeting we will be hosting Chris Hellerstein from the Key Club. She will be continuing with our 3 1/2 year tradition of hosting speakers twice a month to tell us new ways which we can make our community a better place. We have hosted speakers from Georgia Aquarium, Decatur Business Association, Habitat for Humanity, and other exciting organizations in our area.
