Note - due to scheduling error, the speaker for this month is not Susana Ditusa (who will speak in June), but instead Seattle Times Investigative Reporter Christine Willmsen.

This month's speaker will be Christine Willmsen, a nationally recognized investigative journalist who has unearthed corruption, social injustice and abuse. Her award-winning work often delves into complex issues that reach national and international audiences. Willmsen's most recent work includes a year-long investigation into taxpayer funding for the legal defenses of sex predators housed at the state's McNeil Island facility. Published in January, it led to the recent passage of state legislation aimed at reeling in the reimbursement for lawyers of sex predators fighting their indefinite, involuntary commitments.

Join other mystery writers for a food and drink as we listen to Susana talk about the battle on the front lines to protect our children in cyberspace.
