for Chiefs, Sheriffs, Risk Managers and Legal Advisors

TASER International, through the TASER Training Academy, and in conjunction with the FBI National Academy Association presents, a one-day program specifically designed for law enforcement executives, government risk managers, government legal counsel and medical advisors. Topics covered include an overview of TASER Electronic Control Devices (ECD), use-of-force legal and policy issues, medical information, and risk mitigation.

Attendees will receive substantial factual information how TASER® ECD's incapacitate individuals; how ECDs fit into law enforcement use-of-force deployment strategies; training considerations; policy recommendations from IACP, PERF and others; recent court decisions; medical studies and the findings and the effects of TASER ECDs on liability exposure and on reducing officer and suspect injuries.

Prerequisites: Attendance is limited to current law enforcement executives and their designees, government legal counsel, risk managers and medical advisors.
