The Election Funding Authority (EFA) will be holding a Candidate Information Seminar in the Ku-ring-gai LGA for those interested in becoming a candidate for the upcoming Local Government elections being held on 8 September. Seminars will be held in conjunction with the NSW Electoral Commission and the Division of Local Government.
The EFA presentation will cover your role and obligations as a Candidate or Official Agent in the lead up to the elections.
It is important to note; that candidates should register with the EFA and appoint an agent prior to receiving a political donation or incurring expenditure on an election campaign as it is an offence to do otherwise.
