This fiesta is a celebration of Latino and American cultures in our community. There will be a variety of fun events to enjoy throughout the day. The fiesta begins with a 5k Run/Walk for Fun. A Mass will be officiated by Padre Jorge Miramontes. The opening ceremonies will be presented by Mayor Ron Krueger and Chief of Police Timothy Roets. After the Mass, the 2012 Queen of the Fiesta will be presented, followed by a performance of folk dancing. Authentic Mexican food and American favorites will be provided by local restaurants. A band and a DJ will alternate to keep the dancers and music lovers entertained.
