Event Details

Come visit Fillmore Park, a new affordable family neighborhood for first-time homebuyers. The 32-townhouse project is one of the last products of the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency's Limited Equity Program, which sought to increase local affordable homeownership opportunities. The development and design team will be on hand to answer questions and small group tours will be given at 10:30, 11:30 and 12:30.

At the end of the tour, participants will:

- understand how to develop climate-specific planting selections for a tight urban infill site.
- have learned how to provide a large portion of a multifamily building’s energy needs through a combination of solar thermal and PV systems.
- understand strategies for creating outdoor space for residents within a compact urban development.
- have learned how dense townhouse developments can balance the benefits of single-family homeownership with the greater energy efficiency of multifamily construction.

Please register for one of the three time blocks offered by the tour leaders.
