Come join the C.A.S.T this summer from August 7-11, 2006, 6-9pm.

For ages 7-14 years old.

Class sizes limited to 6 students to 1 Instructor. You will need to select a 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd choice. Student may be placed in 2^nd or 3^rd choice of 1^st choice is full.

Instruction Offered:

Music: The music classes will consist of 1 hour Musical Theory and 1 hour of an instrument of choice for the week.

Voice: Students will learn proper breathing, posture and vocal techniques.
Drums: Students will learn basic rhythm patters and play a full drum set.
Bass: Students will learn how to tune and play basic bass lines.
Guitar: Students will learn how to tune and play basic chords. Class is full
Piano: Students will learn basic piano techniques.

Movement:

Dance: Students will learn the art of Hip Hop dance.

Theater:

Acting: Students will be taught acting techniques and exercises in order to perform monologues and scripts for closing program.

Sewing:

Quilting: Students will be instructed in quilting techniques that will enable them to put together projects that will be donated.

Art:

Scrapbooking: Students will learn to organize and assemble pages of family memorabilia. Emphasis will be given in preserving pictures and page layout design.
Drawing: Students will be taught drawing, sketching, and painting using different mediums each day including water color, markers, acrylic, and colored pencils.
