Finding Kind is a compelling new feature film and movement, based upon the powerful belief in KINDness, that brings awareness and healing to the negative and lasting effects of girl-against-girl bullying.  Already creating buzz at film festivals and schools across the country, Finding Kind documents the 10,000-mile cross-country journey of Lauren Parsekian and Molly Thompson, two first time filmmakers who were both teen victims of “mean girls”.

We would like to invite you to view Finding Kind, a moving documentary that addresses the issue of girl on girl bullying.  It is our hope that a movement of KINDNESS  will replace the mean girl behavior that has such a negative and lasting effect on our girls.  The film also includes interviews with experts in fields of psychology, education, and the interrelationships of women and girls. 

The movie is appropriate for children ages 11 and up. We would like to encourage girls to come with their mothers or guardians for this event. It is also great for educators and school counselors. We, as a community,  must empower our girls through this movement to bring an end to the meanness, and heal and encourage our girls through KINDNESS. 

The event is free and open to the public.  Due to limited space, we would like all attendees to reserve tickets online, both parents/guardians and students require tickets.  Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
