"Broadcast Media’s Role in the 21st Century – How It Fits with Social Media and the Changing Economic Climate"
Radio broadcasters are under the same economic pressures as other media, so they are trying to re-create the medium to boost listenership, relevancy and profitability. Innovations now include programming offered via satellite directly to viewers; through audio and video podcasts, through the Web and social networking sites; and on demand to your mobile phone.
What do these technological changes mean for Chicago public relations professionals? How should integrated communication strategies be adapted to these new forms of communication? What new opportunities are available to us and the people we represent?
Join us June 10 for an outstanding panel of Chicago broadcasters and people who follow the business.
