From parks to "green" buildings, come discover environmental highlights of Boston
We'll visit a combination of downtown parks including Boston Common, Norman B. Leventhal Park (Post Office Square), and the Rose Kennedy Greenway. You will have a chance to browse the brochures and tourist options at the Boston Common's newly renovated Visitors Center. Next we'll see an example of a green certified building. You will learn about options for further exploring Boston by foot, bike, public transit, and boat. The tour typically starts on the Freedom Trail (near the Park St. T stop) and wraps up near South Station.
