Thank you very much for your interest in sponsoring the IEEE Computer Society of Santa Clara Valley.
Our Technical Meetings are open to the public, and as we provide free pizza and sodas, we are very thankful to those companies that wish to sponsor these events. In return, the sponsoring company will have the opportunity to connect with our guests, and will be recognized as a sponsor.
Preparation
About 4 weeks in advance of the Technical Meeting, the event page will be publicized at http://sites.ieee.org/scv-cs/. Your company name and logo will be shown, as well as a link to your website.
We will include a Thank You announcement slide for your company in our rotating welcome slides. We have a PowerPoint template by way of samples to send you. Email this to us at least a couple days in advance of the meeting.
We make available a 2 by 5 feet table plus chairs in our reception area, which allows you to network with our visitors, and display your company and products. You may want to bring a table cloth or banner to hang over the front. Let us know in advance if you need an electrical outlet. This is also a great opportunity to connect to potential hiring candidates.
We will provide you with an invoice. Bring a check made out to “IEEE Computer Society, Santa Clara Valley Chapter” and deliver to our registration desk.
We encourage you to bring a simple door prize for those who visit your table. Be sure to let the Chair or meeting leader know if you do. They will be awarded immediately prior to the start of the meeting (6:55) or at the end of the evening (~8:30), whichever you prefer. Door prizes have consisted of free training classes and development kits.
We encourage you to publicize your sponsorship among your contacts.
