When: Thursday, June 28th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm

The Contenders: Jay Rand and Dror Futter

Learn how term sheet negotiation works by watching a simulated early stage investment cage fight! Attendees will be treated to an intense presentation of the term sheet negotiation process, using a non-market term sheet as an example. There will be plenty to learn as Dror Futter, general counsel of Vidyo, Inc. and Jay Rand, partner at SorinRand LLC, go head to head detailing the fundamentals of the investor negotiation process.

The Contenders:

Jay Rand is a partner of SorinRand LLC. He is widely recognized as one of the region’s leading counsel to early-stage, emerging growth and venture-backed companies. Jay represents venture capital funds, private equity funds, angel investors and a wide range of companies in industries ranging from information technology, new and traditional media, software, health services and life sciences to consumer goods and services. www.sorinrand.com.

Dror Futter is general counsel of Vidyo Inc, a venture-backed company providing revolutionary videoconferencing technology. Previously he was general counsel of New Venture Partners LLC, a venture capital firm specializing in corporate spinouts. www.vidyo.com.
