Whitney Young Circle, a seven single-family home development in the Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco, began in January 2009.
These homes are being built almost entirely by volunteers and partner families. At the beginning of the day, volunteers are split into groups, each led by one of our skilled Site Supervisors. They will train you to use any tools you will need for the day, and teach you any skills you may not know. No experience is necessary, just a desire to learn. We do require volunteers to work the entire day, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
