Event Details

Safe Kids Worldwide and Safe Kids Palm Beach County invite you to join us as we raise critical awareness about the dangers of heat stroke to unattended children in vehicles. Join us to learn what you can do to prevent these tragic and unnecessary deaths.

 

Please join us at the City of Boca Raton Police Administration and Training facility for a light breakfast and the opportunity to meet fellow advocates before the program begins. The continental breakfast begins at 9:00am with remarks starting at 10:00am.

Speakers include:

 

o   Kate Carr, President and CEO, Safe Kids Worldwide

o   Gay P. Kent, Executive Director, Vehicle Safety and Crashworthiness, General Motors

o   Dr. Leticia Manning Ryan, MD, Children’s National Medical Center, Emergency Medicine and Trauma Services

o   Dr. Norman Collins, Sr, grandfather who suffered a personal  tragedy with hyperthermia

o   Chief Daniel C. Alexander, Boca Raton Police Services Department

o   Kelly Powell, Safe Kids Palm Beach County Coordinator, Community Partnership Group
