Join us for a full day of exploration and learning in historic Harper's Ferry Maryland. The focus of this workshop is HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography and the many historic buildings, cobble stone streets and gardens of Harper's Ferry will be the perfect subject matter for us to explore. This workshop starts at 7am with a 4 hour photo walk where we will discuss and learn the basics of capturing images for HDR image processing as well as shooting of course. We will then all have lunch together from 11:30am - 12:30pm in Charles Town before heading over to the hotel confrence room for our classroom segment of the day from 1:15pm - 5:30pm. After classroom we will put our new found skills to work once agin in the historic district of Harper's Ferry until after sunset.
Instruction, Classroom and guiding are all included in the cost of this workshop. Transportation, meals and lodging are not covered by the cost of the workshop.

Joe is also a staff course instructor for Nature Photographers Magazine, and writes a regular blog column forOutdoor Photographer Magazine online edition. Joe is also a co-author and contributing photographer two print books, The Ultimate Guide to Digital Nature Photography (Mountain Trail Press) and50 Amazing Things You Must See and Do in the Greater D.C. Area, The Ultimate Adventure Guide. Joe continues to travel extensively producing new and exciting images of the natural world as well as leading several photography workshops and photo tours each year.
