The Presenter - Mike Thomas

Mike Thomas has over 20 years experience working in the field of Information Technology. He is highly-regarded in the world of Learning and Development and his love for teaching and passing on knowledge, his vibrant personality and his ability to “put the learner at ease” have all contributed to a successful career as a trainer. 

He is a self-confessed “spreadsheet geek” with a passion for Excel and works with users across the globe, not only teaching them how to get the most out of the software, but as a first-class VBA developer, he develops time-saving and productivity-enhancing bespoke applications.

Although Excel is Mike’s “first love”, his expertise covers technical subjects such as Visual Basic programming, database development and Microsoft Office, as well as bespoke applications that have been deployed across a number of industries and sectors.

Mike is one of those rare breed of IT professionals in that he’s vastly experienced in both the Windows and Mac platforms. He’s successfully transferred his Microsoft Office and VBA skills to the Mac operating system.
