The Rest of the Story

Learn the fascinating story of how Portland grew from a lonely clearing in the wilderness into the vibrant city that it is today. Our tour together starts and ends at Pioneer Courthouse Square, known around here as Portland’s Living Room.  From there, we will visit historical sites and buildings, fountains, and works of public art.

But most important of all, DISCOVERmyPORTLAND will go beyond the usual brochure and guide book facts by telling you The Rest of the Story; stories of colorful characters and events that  make up Portland’s past and that have shaped the people that live here into Portlanders.

Where to meet on your tour day:

We will meet under the Nordstrom awning at SW Broadway and Yamhill (across from Pioneer Courthouse Square) ten minutes before the tour is scheduled to begin .  Please print off a copy of your ticket purchase (or just write down your confirmation number!) and bring it with you.  You will also receive these instructions in an email confirmation after you purchase your tickets.
